Which is actually Randall Lococo. Don't know what you got, Gregg, since you didn't post the Google link, http://www.google.com/search?q=Randall+Lococo.
But what I got its that he's a Weld County magistrate, and and is indicated as having a private practice in Fort Collins. Nothing indicates why this individual would make a better DA than any other, save that he's an obvious insider to the legal system. If that's a good or bad thing, well, that's up for debate.
The State Bar of California indicates him as resigned. There's one negative entry in LawyerRatingZ.com. An exact term search ("Randall Lococo") results in 368 entries. Licensed to practice in Colorado since 1994. He has one case law citing where he was on the appeals team of a parental termination case. It was a hard case to win, if you read through the opinion. And he's in a weird list of names in Australia, for whatever reason.
His experience on the defence side of the table and bench may possibly balance out the office. And since he's already been on the bench, he may be interested a career path of justice rather than convictions for promotion. If he's actually looking to be DA, that is.
