This is the exchange of e-mails from after writing about how much confidence I have in the Larimer County DA, to investigate cases of the abuse of children. My daughter has been and may still be a victime of sexual abuse. Elliot Phelps, investigated and found that Angela Mead, Susan Kaul and Linda Connors made false statements in this case. Elliot Phelps said they were immaterial false statements, but were false statements none the less. This is the exchange:
George,
That would be a typical response from someone who has an attorney working under him that will make false statements in a case of sexual abuse of children. If you were doing your job, and having those like Linda Connors acting with ethics and integrity for the protection of children, then I would not have a claim and Elliot Phelps would not have said that Linda Connors made a false statement in a sexual abuse case of my daughter. So much for ethical behavior from you. Of course you want to ignore the unethical/criminal acts by Linda Connors. I think that the phrase from Elliot Phelps, "materially false" is saying that Linda Connors made a fabricated statement. that was not the testimony given by myself and those who were present when my daughter confided her sexual abuse.

I don't think there is anything to be done at this point. Any engagement with him will only exacerbate the whole thing.
I don't open his emails.
Sorry you need to put up with this.

Mr. Abrahamson,
I have to wonder about the most recent case of child abuse in Larimer County. The reason that I have to wonder is because from your own office (Elliot Phelps) determined that Angela Mead, Susan Kaul, and Linda Connors, made false statements in the sexual abuse case of my daughter. How, can someone like myself have any confidence in any investigation that you now decide to prosecute, when you have been made aware that those who you are using to bring evidence into the courts, your own office has found to make false statements in such cases.
Yet, you speak before to the County Commissioners about victim rights. Yet you and your prosecutors refused to even ask for evidence to prosecute the the person who stole $35,000 from my mother. You speak about victims rights, yet you decide not to prosecute those who will make false statements in the sexual abuse case of my daughter. Now, you are going to use the statements from these same people that your own investigator, Elliot Phelps has determined made false statements, but was only capable of coming up reasons why your office could not prosecute these crimes. Elliot Phelps and yourself determined that it is better to allow these same people to continue to testify before the courts, after you have found that they will lie. If you cared about the rights of victims of crime, you and your office would show that they can prosecute those who place children in danger by giving false statements in sexual abuse cases of children.
