It's come to my attention from an unnamed source that the Poudre School District may be violating the rights of parents and children by giving out information on students to the Larimer County Department of Human Services (LCDHS). This may include information on whether or not the child is in school today, attendance records, and any number of other confidential information items. Did you know that this was occurring, as a parent? Did the school notify you and get your consent to release any information to anybody? Did the LCDHS get a court order to access privileged information on schoolchildren?
Did you as parents know that the LCDHS must get your consent to interview your child? Or are they just conveniently bypassing this requirement because the case worker is "new"? Are you comfortable, as a parent,
In February, 2011, in Will There Ever Be Justice in The Broderick Case? I wrote that "… No longer is there even a semblance of the justice regular citizens get. …" Well, almost two years later, we at least finally have our answer to the title of that story. The answer is NO.
Some may actually think that justice has prevailed in this case because Tim Masters got compensated, Judges Blair and Gilmore got fired for their perpetration as district attorneys, and everybody is happy. If you really think that, please take the time to read "Drawn To Injustice" by Timothy Masters with Steve Lehto. The surface of justice hasn't even been scratched in this case, because all in all it is WE THE TAXPAYER that have been punished and paid the penalty. The perpetrators of what occurred, Broderick, Ray Martinez, Blair, Gilmore and others mentioned in the book, invented out of thin air a whole cloth fabric of a fantasy story to prosecute an innocent man, with not a shred of evidence to back it up.
This case was set up to fail in many ways. The legal system had no stomach for it. They saw possible liability and further embarrassment. Ken Buck made it a political football to play with while seeking political office, or so it seems to some. The taxpayer had no stomach for it because they were paying, and have a very short attention span to boot. And the Court, well, it overlooks things that it finds inconvenient to a given outcome. Whatever…
How can anybody in the judicial system think that the citizenry can possibly have any respect for a system here that appears off kilter and self-serving? Broderick gets off, all on the benefit of the taxpayer dime, no
I am almost without words. As written in the Coloradoan and quoted below for discussion, Bryce Evans gets five years probation. For a killing that was no accident, as Mr. Murray says below. Probation... Really?
I truly feel for the family, that they don't want to loose two sons. But as an observer of the legal system, I've got to say I can't recall a similar case with similar circumstances where the outcome was probation. I've been observing for quite a few years. The very idea shocks the conscience.
One can recall case after case in this Eighth Judicial District, of individuals with no previous criminal record who killed and got many years in prison, not probation, no matter how contrite they were, no matter how many supporters came to court. The family may get some strange form of justice, but how about justice for the deceased and for the People of the State of Colorado? How about equal justice for all?
All this leaves this commentator thinking that there are currents and connections under
President: Barack Obama / Joe Biden
For too many reasons to get to into a short space. Personally, I'm better off than I was at the start of Mr. Obama's term, and things are looking up. We now have a seasoned hand at the helm, and the next four years will be better than the first. With Romney, we have a green hand at the helm at a critical juncture in world politics and conflict. A hand that may be a bit too hasty and rough for the power-keg that needs to be carried in the Middle East, IMHO. We need no sparks there. If one wants to blame Obama for the current economic state, at least be honest enough to accept that he had lots of help...
House, 113 Congress: Kevin Lundberg
Just a personal choice, from research into what he's done, and at least trying to become aware of the issues of corrupt family courts and legal child kidnapping. He may not be a true believer yet, but give him another term, more evidence, more witnesses, and he may get something done about it.
Regent of CU at Large: David Ong
We need replacement of the at large Regent big time at CU. Mr. Ong appears to understand the Colorado Constitution with respect to CCW holders, and
Part of it is my disgust for y'all being fooled into allowing the spraying of Permethrin in neighborhoods. The second is the science. What is the critical need for mosquitoes to breed? Anybody care to answer?
The correct answer is standing water. Something that has been SORELY LACKING this summer. Where is this inundation of mosquitoes breeding if there is no standing water? Hmmm? I don't hear mosquitoes, but I do hear crickets.
Next comes the idea that the problem doesn't exist. I work by areas that have cattails a block away, and cattails live in marsh, swampland, read that standing water. Places were mosquitoes breed. Ya think the mosquitoes would be missing out? No attacks whatsoever. I have personally been bitten at night three times this summer, such an astonishingly low amount that I've kept count. I've maybe killed four in the house in four months. How about you? How many times you been bit, as opposed to years prior? The very low attack count this year contraindicates

Can you believe it? At her cost no less, to add insult to injury, further exacerbated by the High Park Fire. This was the last as reported on the Dave Hodges' Common Sense Show, July 1, 2012. It is continually disgusting, it is a continuing affront to parent/child rights everywhere, a continuing affront to any individual with a conscience, and Judge Julie Kunce Field should be hideously ashamed of her rulings, being the parent herself I hear of a teenage daughter.
So how much longer is the child abuse of REDACTED going to continue? How much longer is the slap at the face of Lady Justice going to be tolerated. The wrongful separation of the child from the mother and forcibly placement with the father is CHILD ABUSE. The court cannot allege ANY wrongdoing on the part of the mother that would allow the granting of 100% custody to the father who NEVER had custody of the child, can it? It appears a spiteful ruling at best, IMHO, based on things that were NOT in the best interests of the child. At worst, it appears to be retaliation, falling into exactly what is being posted on-line about the case!
RETURN CUSTODY TO STACY LYNNE NOW! Because we the taxpayer
The following are some images taken Sunday, June 10th that give some small idea of the severity of the fire.

This book is a set of pages related to the High Park Fire, which started Saturday, June 9, 2012 in the morning. It has been explosively growing, with possibly some taming today due to fuel loss, however it is still being reported as ~37,000 acres (~58 mi2) burned and zero percent containment as of this writing. There are reports of numerous structures damaged, and one individual missing, presumed a fatality.
I almost wanted to add humorous to the category of this post, except that it isn't funny in the least. Prosecution by the numbers, as in football uniform number. It is humorous in a way, because CSU wanted to be on the national stage. I believe CSU could be on the national stage in a big way with this
We do have to give them reasonable time to investigate. That's a given. But we also have to be very vigilant around here. And given that we get accused of being "black helicopterers", "tin hatters", oh, and my favorite "sovereign citizen". Sovereign citizenship, AKA renunciation of citizenship is an impossibility, and a spurious accusation, unless one goes offshore and renounces citizenship. We have to be especially vigilant here, LOL.
As an application of the discretionary power of the DA to decide on what to charge, all I can do is roll my eyes, with respect to the initial altercation. However, with the added drug component, that creates totally different dimension to the DA's discretionary power. Lets not discuss
